In celebration of the upcoming FIRST birthday of my darling god-daughter, I’m declaring this Isabelle week on the blog! I can already hear my mom saying, “What?!? I brought you into this world and I don’t get a week dedicated to me on your blog?!?” Yes, mom, that is correct. And no, that doesn’t sanction you taking me out of this world.
So, let us start from the beginning. It was Isabelle’s first full day at home, and she made sure her parents didn’t sleep a wink the night before. After being fussy all night, she had no problem snoozing on and off all day.

Too all my photo peeps out there, please know that these were all taken at ISO 1600 (as high as the D60 would go), at an incredibly slow shutter speed, without flash and in auto mode. Yep, those were the early days. Still love these pics though
